New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Project Breaks Ground

Today marked the ground breaking for the Regional Operations Facility in for New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance (NJMI). HDR CUH2A's Gene Graff, Mike Konsko, Sean Crane, Sean Cuddahy and John Mudgett attended the ceremony, which officially kicked off construction at the project site in Hammonton, New Jersey. The project is designed as two phases: construction has begun on Phase 1 at 147,000 sf, and a future Phase 2 is planned at 105,000 sf, for a total build-out of 252,000 sf.
Easily accessible from several major arteries, the NJMI facility provides a public bank branch as well as corporate office and amenity facilities. The building respects the local residential context through sensitive massing that maintains a low profile. Materials and design motifs blend traditional values with contemporary sensibilities. Sustainable strategies employed to ensure energy efficiency and environmental responsibility comply with a central tenet of the master plan, also developed by HDR CUH2A, assuring responsible development of the site.
